Jewel Box Cabinetry warrants its cabinetry and related products to the original purchaser for the lifetime of the product under normal use. Jewel Box Cabinetry will repair or replace part or parts of our products that are proven defective. Our warranty does not cover wear and tear, misuse, abuse, improper installation, or improper storage.

Wood naturally moves, shrinks and expands, due to the temperature and humidity changes. Wood movement, expansion and contraction, and cracking at the joinery is to be expected and there for nothing can be done about it.

Our warranty does not cover any finish related issues when Jewel Box Cabinetry did not finish the cabinetry or have one of our sub contractors finish the cabinetry.

Cabinetry doors move naturally, this is to be expected. When a door moves or warps more than a ¼ inch this is what Jewel Box Cabinetry regards as defective, a door / drawer front will be replaced at no charge to the original consumer.

Finish related defects or flaws are to be inspected by a Jewel Box Cabinetry employee and on a case by case basis. Hand rubbed, glazed, distressed, and crackle finishes are an artistic creation and are a little different from job to job, this is normal. Jewel Box Cabinetry will determine if there is an actual flaw or if it is a natural part of the artistic application of the finish.

To file a claim under this warranty, the original purchaser must contact Jewel Box Cabinetry to arrange a meeting to determine if there is an actual defect or flaw.
